The Texas/Oklahoma Wildflower Mix is specifically designed for areas which have special needs; the long, hot, dry summers of Texas and Oklahoma or other similar climates. This mix will do very well if planted in early to late Spring. This mixture will also do well when planted as a dormant seeding. The mix consists of 22 species of which 60% are annuals and 40% are perennial and/or biennials. Under normal conditions, this mixture will reach a height of 36-48 inches. Approx. seeds per pound: 692,000.

Seeding rate:

  • 6-10 pounds per acre depending on density desired
  • 1 pound per 4,500 square feet
  • If Hydro seeding, seeding rate should be doubled.
